He graduated from the Cremona School of Lutherie in 1991 under the guidanceof Giorgio Scolari, with whom he perfected his technique during the subsequent years.
In 1996 he opened a workshop with Massimo Ardoli. He follows the classic Cremona designs and more recent ones; he also makes guitars. He has been work-ing as a teacher at the Cremona School of Lutherie since 2001.
