マルコ・コピアルディ (1967- )
He graduated from the Cremona School of Lutherie in 1985 under the guidance of Riccardo Bergonzi. He received important acknowledgements, in particular in Bagnacavallo and Ortona.
In the 1990’s he moved to the United States and he currently works at the Newton Center, at Johnson’s String Instruments. He then opened a workshop in Boston and his instruments are sold in Paris at Guy Coquoz’s and in Tokyo at shidakawa’s.
Good wood choice and acoustic output; Cremonese modeles; fine varnish. He is also a restorer.
イタリア生まれ、育ち。
F.Bissolotti時代のCermonaの製作学校で学んでいる。
1992年にBostonに移住し、現在はオールド楽器の修理、修復をしながらも、
年に数本、チェロを含めた自身の楽器の製作活動も続けている。
レベルの高いプレイヤーの修理調整などもしていて、
多くのオールド楽器に触れていることもあり、彼の製作する楽器のスタイルに直接影響している
ようです。
今の日本の皇太子殿下がCremonaの製作学校を訪問された際に、学校から
コピアルディさんのViolaを献上したそうです。
何度か、日本にも訪れています。
