彼は1960年クレモナ市郊外に生れた。モラッシーの指導の下で1979年クレモナの製作学校卒業。1988年トリエンナーレ展ではヴァイオリン部門銀メダル。1991年クレモナ職人工芸家協会展で金メダル。クレモナの昔の名工たちの伝統を最も忠実に継承する純粋な職人気質の弦楽器製作者である。V,Cの評価も高いが、Vnは密度の高い引き締まった音質を持ち室内楽に向く。

He graduated from the Cremona School of
Lutherie in 1979 under the g u i d a n c e o f
Gio Batta Morassi. He was the president of
the Group of Professional Violin Makers of
Cremona of ALI.
He took part in several competitions,
among which Kassel, Gorizia, Cremona,
Baveno, Paris, Florence; he received sever-
al acknowledgements in the various edi-
tions of the Cremona Triennal Competi-
tion. He worked by following a handicraft
method, in total compliance with
the Cremonese tradition.
