Lupot (I) in Stuttgart. Established as a specialist bow maker in Mirecourt, one of the first craftsmen to do so. Assisted by his sons Nicolas (II), below, and Jacques Philippe, above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Pike head and \u2018Cramer\u2019 style bows, slightly heavier than contemporary Tourte work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the time, a prolific maker.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Round ironwood or snakewood sticks, open frog, and button of ivory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Branded: \u2018A DUCHAINE\u2019, with the \u2018N\u2019 reversed.
