Born in 1909 in Baudricourt, a small village near Mirecourt, Louis DELIGNON was the son of the violin maker Charles DELIGNON. He completed his apprenticeship in his father’s workshop before joining COLLIN MEZIN and Georges APPARUT to complete his training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then worked for various violin makers such as Lucien FRANCAIS in Nancy, Fran\u00e7ois DELPRATO in Hou\u00e9court, and Louis BILLOTET in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, around 1932, he established his own workshop in Baudricourt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
