Under his guidance he improved his technique and style. He makes violins, violas and cellos using classical Cremonese models (Stradivari, Guarneri, Amati); he also makes use of a 1929 Ornati models for violin. He just uses wood of high quality and which is seasoned, dedicating special attention to the sound quality. He employes spirit varnish, carefully preparated by a personal research, of orange-brown colour with golden reflection underneath. He has taken part in the followings competitions: -1999, bronze medal for a cello in Baveno national competition; -2001, gold medal for a violin and Silver medal for a viola in Baveno national competition; -2001, finalist with a violin in Wieniawsky international competition (Poznan-Poland); -2002, 3rd. prize and special prize for the workmanship for a viola in Tchaikowsky international competition (Moscow-Russia); -2003, honorary mention for a viola in Triennale international competition (Cremona-Italy). -2004, 4th. place and Crystal Cup for the best violinmaker under 30 years in Metelka Conpetition (Nachod- Czech Republic) -2005, 4th. place and special prize with a viola in Mittenwald International Competition (Germany). -2005, 5th. place with a violin in Arvenzis International Competition (Dolny Kubin-Slovakia). -2006, 5th.place and honorary mention with a viola in Triennale International Competition (Cremona-Italy).
