He graduated from the Cremona School of Lutherie in 1986,under the guidance of Riccardo Bergonzi,Massimo Negroni,Giorgio Ce and Ezio Scarpini.He worked for some time with Riccardo Bergonzi and then opened his own workshop in Cremona.
He acquired good manual skills in making bowed instruments;he pays special attention to sound and varnishes,achieving excellent results.His instruments have good acoustic properties and fine varnish.
