Excellent Violinist, he dedicated himsself to violin making when he was very young. In Nice, he was a pupil of Nicolo Bianchi and later, frmona 1940, of Enzo Arassi in Milan. He followed the Guarneri designs, with fine, oilbased, transpoarent, golden and ruby-red varnish.
He made 295 instruments: 137 violins, 26 violas, 72 cellos, all of them highly appreciated in Germany, Swizerland, Japan, France, United States. In 1959 he was awarded a silver medal in Ascoli Piceno and 1967 a gold medal in Cremona.
